After years of working for another company throughout the 1970’s, James learned every skill necessary to design and build an entire home. In 1979, he opened J Moroni Construction here in the Valley, specializing mainly in the remodel of homes. In 1996, James sold the lucrative business and moved to Connecticut to attend to some family issues. A true master of his trade, James quickly picked up where he left off here in the Valley and once again started his own company specializing in the construction and design of remodels.
In 2000, James began missing his Desert home and decided it was time for him to return to the Coachella Valley; a place he has always loved. With the help of his loving wife, James opened So. California Sliding Doors in 2006 and today offers top-notch service at unbeatable prices. Throughout the past few years since opening, he has built the brand to include a large crew with multiple trucks to service customers throughout the entire Valley 7 days/week. Initially licensed in the design, customization, and installation of the Nations industry leaders, Milgard and International, James quickly began remodeling homes once again. A true passion for what he does So.
